Rain Formation Technology & Mitigation of Urban Heat Island Effect:

Our Patent Application No.202321071592 entitled “A System to Mitigate Urban Heat Island Effect and Enhance Precipitation” discloses the mechanism that may improve local evaporative moisture level specifically in arid / semiarid regions insisting cloud formation and advection of moisture from oceanic evaporation creating favourable conditions for cloud condensation and precipitation (rainfall). The mechanism based on the principle of evaporative cooling also mitigate Urban Heat Island effect. UHI is the temperature difference of 2 to15°C between Urban and surrounding rural areas occurs due to anthropogenic activities. Increased concrete surface area in urban region is the major factor responsible for solar heat absorption and emission. Apart from greenhouse gas emissions, anthropogenically increased concrete surface area is equally responsible for global warming.

The mechanism disclosed in this invention works utilizing natural resources with zero emissions and zero carbon output.
